The RX-2242-ATXR 2U rackmount computer is an advanced Xeon server that performs with the best of them as a high-end workstation. It features four swappable drive bays for SATA or EIDE hard drives and the power of dual Xeon processors. The motherboard is equipped with onboard audio, video and LAN. The system comes with 4GB of DDR RAM expandable to 16GB. One 250GB hard drive, a CD-ROM and a standard floppy drive complete the standard configuration. The system is powered by a 300W dual redundant power supply and cooled by four large 42.5cfm, heavy-duty ball-bearing fans. With its 25.6” depth, the chassis can take an extended ATX motherboard. The system offers three open horizontal PCI slots. There is a front USB port as well as LEDS for power and hard drive activity. Raid server, file server, proxy server, web server and email server are a few of the possible applications for this robust 2U rackmount dual-processor computer system.
