The RX2246 is a 2U rackmount computer that functions well as an advanced Pentium server or high-end workstation. With four hot-swap SATA drive bays RAID 0,1 or 5 configurations are possible. With the Intel Pentium dual core processor and up to 2GB of RAM the system has the power to handle large files and programs. Four USB ports, including two accessible from the front of the unit, and three horizontal PCI slots, give the system added flexibility and easy expandability. File server, web server, email server, RAID server, or proxy server are just a few of the possible applications.
