The RXO-2242-ATXR 2U rackmount computer is an advanced server featuring the AMD Opteron dual core processor. With four hot-swap SATA drive bays, RAID 0,1 or 5 configurations are possible. The motherboard is equipped with onboard audio, video and LAN. The standard configuration includes 1GB of DDR RAM, one 80GB hard drive, a CD-ROM and a floppy drive. The system is powered by a 300W dual redundant power supply and cooled by four large 42.5cfm, heavy-duty ball-bearing fans. With its 25.6” depth, the chassis can handle any depth motherboard in case a dual or quad processor system is desirable. The system has three open horizontal PCI slots for expansion. There is a front USB port as well as LEDS for power and hard drive activity. RAID server, file server, proxy server, web server, email server, or high-end workstation are a few of the possible applications for this robust 2U rackmount computer.
