The RXO-2246 is a 2U rackmount computer that functions well as an advanced Opteron server or high-end workstation. The system has four swappable drive bays for SATA or EIDE hard drives. With the AMD Opteron dual core processor and up to 2GB of RAM, the system has the power as well as flexibility. Four USB ports, including two accessible from the front of the unit, and three horizontal PCI slots, add to the system’s flexibility and easy expandability. Power comes from a 300W power supply. Upgrade to up a 600W power supply as needed. Four 80mm ball-bearing fans provide cooling. File server, web server, email server, RAID server, or proxy server are just a few of the possible applications for this 2U rackmount Opteron computer.
