The RX-1122 is a server for all reasons. It can be a database server, a file server or NAS. It can handle telephony, telecom, and VoIP applications to name but a few. This flexible 1U rackmount computer is built around the Intel Pentium D dual core processor on a motherboard with onboard audio, video and LAN. The standard configuration includes 256MB RAM and one 250GB hard drive but can be upgraded to 2GB RAM and up to four 400GB hard drives. It has four hot-swappable SATA drive bays. There is an internal 2.5” bay for a fifth hard drive and an open PCI slot. Slim CD-ROM and floppy drives are included in the basic package as well as a 300W power supply. Power supplies up to 600W are available. The cooling system is one of the best in the business with five swappable 40mm fans in the middle of the box and two 13,000rpm fans in the back. Front panel indicators for power, HDD and LAN and two front USB ports are standard on this 1U rackmount advanced Pentium server.
