With it’s three hot-swappable SATA drive bays, the RX-1125 can have a RAID 5 drive setup if needed. Some of the possible applications for this 1U rackmount computer include web or mail server, cluster PC node, database server, file server, and NAS. The standard configuration includes an Intel Pentium D dual-core processor and 256MB RAM on a motherboard with built in audio, video and LAN capable of being upgraded to 2GB RAM. There is one open PCI lot for an add-on card. CD and floppy drives are also standard. The 300W system power supply is upgradeable to 600W. The cooling system is top-notch with six fans at mid-chassis and two 13,000rpm fans at the rear. The front panel includes LEDs for power, hard drive activity and LAN and two USB ports. Front power and reset buttons are also standard on this workhorse 1U rackmount server.
